Founded in 1982 (starting as a 50-layer chicken farm), the group was formally established in August 1992. It is the first non-publicly owned enterprise group officially approved by the state. After 37 years of development, it has become a comprehensive enterprise group involved in livestock farming, sea cucumber breeding, deep processing, marine bioactive substance R&D, egg product processing and R&D. It currently has 5 million layers. Its "Lüelüeda" brand and "Haibao Food" are primarily sold internationally.
